Marfa My Dear
Marfa Stark and plain and sad and gorgeous.

Fat Lyle’s Food truck . Nice tomato and cucumber sandwich and naughty brussel sprout french fries; both to die for.
Pizza Foundation Thin crust pizza by-the-slice in an old refurbished gas station.
Q Cafe Amazing morning grits bowl. Try it veg with avocado.
Cochineal They used to have an awesome little low key breakfast here. Not sure if they still do. Kinda fancy at night but very good. Minimal and open.
Lost Horse Saloon Locals’ watering hole.

Mini Music Films: Journey To Inheritance by The Last Bison
The Last Bison delivers a powerful earnestness in complex orchestration and heartland folk-drenched thoroughfares. I’m not the biggest fan of the voice department, but all is forgiven with the instrumentation work. The seven Virginians create moving pictures with emotive musical … Continue reading

“Monuments” blinks with draped layers of tinkering bells, carefully expanding percussion and guitar line tapestries, and the softly innocent digital echo of Tiersen’s plight. It’s so beautiful it might make you forget ugly exists. That is until you see the … Continue reading
